Cold water softener - a good solution?
The easiest solution, and at the same time giving good results, is to install a water softener for cold water. Why? First of all, home appliances such as a washing machine, dishwasher, kettle, iron or toilet will use soft, cold water. Thanks to this, the problem with sediment will disappear, and these devices will work more efficiently and longer.
What about hot water?
Hot water, unfortunately, cannot be softened, but there is no such requirement either. For bathing and washing hands, we usually use warm water, i.e. in this case a mixture of cold soft and hot hard water. As a result, we get water with a lower degree of hardness, which will either leave no deposits or will leave a small, easy to remove deposit. However, it is worth remembering that the warmer the water, the higher the hardness. After the bath, however, you can rinse the cabin with cold, softened water - this should help.
